Harbor’s control plane
Harbor Ops needed one place to see ships, berths, and the jobs that fail at 4 a.m.

Harbor Ops runs yards. Their previous “control plane” was a wall of monitors and a spreadsheet named FINAL_v7. We replaced the spreadsheet. We kept the wall.
The system is a small API, a map, and a job runner that pages a human when a berth plan disagrees with the tide table. Cloud accounts were the easy part. Naming the jobs so a night operator trusts them was the work.
Operators still talk about ships, not pods. The interface uses their words. That is product work wearing a cloud badge.
